Based on the August retail sales numbers for the State of Washington, SFBP tenant BMF Washington produced just under 50% of the weed sold in the state of washington in August (just over $3M retail worth). BMF Washington markets its products under the Liberty Reach brand and runs a very professional operation. Here are some pics of their very large grow.
Doing a fly around. SFBP in the middle there (the big empty point) with the lumber mill on the right and the town around and across the water.
Here at SFBP we love it when our tenants get all the attention. Sunday on the cover of the NW section in the Seattle Times, our tenant JuJu Joints got just that. Along the way, they tell the story of Raymond and how it came to embrace this business.
Last week on Thursday, the WSLCB inspectors came out to inspect Building Y, our 30,000 sq ft, 640 light grow/process building that has been leased by BMF Washington. As a validation of South Fork Business Park’s turn key model where we guarantee your building will pass WSLCB inspection, Building Y passed on first inspection. BMF Washington is now the proud owner of a Tier 3 producer/processor license and is beginning their loading of genetics. Congrats BMF!
Building Y is leased with the WSLCB inspection scheduled for end of April 2014.
Building X is 10,000 sq ft, 240 lights. It is under construction with electrical upgrades, framing, and security installation now. Here are progress photos
With the WSLCB process dragging on and more restrictions coming down on producer/processors, it is becoming ever more important to pick the right facility, location and partner for your cannabis business. SFBP has multiple happy tenants already moved in and going, but we still have space for a limited number of other partners. Given the resent restrictions on changing addresses, we have decided to do some marketing to let more producers know about the excellent facilities available at SFBP. You may see this ad in a couple places in the coming month.
While many companies talk about developing real estate solutions for the cannabis industry, South Fork Business Park is doing it. And being recognized in the WSJ for it.
